Hi
In the wdw sites I've seen it says that for the long stay at wdw is better to buy an annual pass instead of an ultimate hopper pass (for the wdw hotel guest) to save money.
I'm thinking about buying an PAP for my 10 days stay at wdw.
I would like to know if with my PAP and as wdw hotel guest, I have the same benefits (E-tickets, fastpass, etc..) as I had the ultimate hopper lenght-of-stay ticket.
(I hope u can understand my bad english) :-)))
thx

Hello Pizzapazza,

Yes, you get all the perks (e-night, fast-pass, etc.) with an annual pass. But it only gets you into the four main parks. The Ultimate Park Hopper gets you into the four main parks, the water parks, Pleasure Island and I believe Disney Quest. The pass expires when you leave.

Another option would be a 7-day Park Hopper Plus. You have unlimited entry into the four major parks for seven days and Four Plus features which you can use for the water parks and Pleasure Island.

We usually get this for our ten day stay and then on the three days we don't go to the parks we go to water parks, downtown disney, just hang out at the resort, or take a cab to another Orlando attraction. The nice thing about this pass is if you don't use all of the days they are good forever.

Good luck and I think your English is great!

First, your English is just fine (I should know I teach that subject!).
You can get all the perks that park hoppers have by purchasing a PAP (The premium annual pass). This is good for all the discounts, and gets you into all of the parks and water parks, as well as Disney Quest and Pleasure Island. As long as you are a Disney Resort Guest you will have the ability to take advantage of E-night and Fast Pass is for any type of ticket.
Enjoy your vacation!:)

I have serious doubts you should get the PAP. Here are things to consider:

1. You will be there "10 days." Does that include your arrival and departure date? If so, you are really talking about only 8 full days. If you buy the Ultimate Park Hopper Pass ("UPH") at the hotel (and not as part of a package in advance) the hotel, upon your request, will let you leave off arrival or departure date and usually both if you will not have need for it on those days (arriving late or leaving early). As a result you can possibly buy an 8 day UPH.

2. The UPH and PAP give you exactly the same thing-- unlimited entry to theme parks, waterparks, Pleasure Island, Wide World of Sports, and Disney Quest. Fastpass is available to any ticket holder, even single day. E-Night is available to any one staying on site who has any multi-day pass.

3. The PAP costs almost $70 more than the 10 day UPH (even renewing the PAP costs $20 more). If you get an 8 or 9 day UPH, the difference is much larger. See the following so you can compare prices of the various tickets http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/tickets.htm

4. The PAP does not really become a choice until 14 days or more. Less than that and it usually is better to buy the regular Annual Pass (which provides theme park entries only) and pay for waterparks, etc. separately because you will spend less than buying the PAP.

5. If you will be going to the parks 10 days or less and you are going to do Disney Quest and waterparks two or more times, then the UPH is likely your choice. If less than that to DQ or waterparks then consider the AP and paying separately for those. The AP provides some benefits the UPH does not--room discounts when available, some restaurant and merchandise discounts, but unless you are planning to come back again next year (and thus renew the AP) or to take advantage of those types of extra benefits, the UPH is probably the choice. Moreover, if you are a family (more than one) you can get those room and restaurant discount benefits supplied by the AP for the family by buying only one adult AP.

When is your next trip after this one? If it will be within the year, it will be worth it to get the AP or PAP. I go twice a year but get 3 trips out of each AP by planning the next year's trip a week before it expires.

First of all I want to thank you all for the help and for the good tips.
In fact I will stay at wdw 10 nights, 5 at coronado and 5 at g.f. (I worked hard to do this!!!:-))
So I have to buy 2 ultimate hopper pass, the first for the coronado and the second for the g.f. stay.
We are two, so I have to spend (if I did everything right):
a) coronado stay(5 nights): 297,88 x 2 = 595,76
b) idem for the g.f.
total for the ult.hopper pass: 595,76x2=1191,52 $

If I buy the premium annual pass for 2 persons, I will spend 497,14 x 2=994,28

If I'm right, I can save 197,24 $

I understood that with an PAP I have the same benefits as the ultimate lenght-of-stay hopper pass, but my doubt is: how can I show that I am a wdw resort guest? normally on my ultimate hopper pass there is the resort name where I stay (if I'm right)..what happens if I show "only" my PAP? how can I show that I am a guest (i.e. to buy the e-tickets)? maybe my question is idiot, so I'm sorry to do that, but in fact I don't want to come from Italy to wdw and finally discover that I made a terrible mistake with the passes.
Thank You very much again.

You will get a room key that will include your park hopper pass on it, your access code to your room which you swipe, and saved credit card information on it if you so choose. That way you only carry one key. You will swipe this upon entry to the park, and also when you want a fastpass. If you choose the AP you will have to carry two cards. The AP card, and you WDW resort guest room key card. You will show the AP at the gate, and the room key card for fastpass.
