I was chatting with a cm on disney website. They said that I could get a discount on a regular annual pass since I have a water park only annual pass as long as its 60 days before it expires. Does anyone know anything about this or how much it would cost?

My Platinum Plus Pass renewal last month was 15% off the regular price. I assume it's the same discount for all AP types (but not 100% certain about that).

There is no activating with a renewal. It just carries over. Only the year changes but the start date remains the same as the previous pass

That is what makes it a "renewal" of the current AP.
