Just noticed that our annual passes expire 2 days before our Christmas trip is over. Can we renew at WDW as long as we have our passes and DVC card? I've turned in vouchers that we've ordered from home before, but can we just bypass that step? We are leaving home on Dec. 2nd, and I'm a little concerned that the vouchers might not arrive before we leave.

I'm confused. If your passes don't expire until the last two days of your trip, why would you buy vouchers???? Look at your touring plans for Disney in the next year. If you don't have a trip planned after this one until 4-6 months out, I'd probably not renew the APs, but would just do something else those two days. Maybe go to Disneyquest or some of the other Orlando attractions those two days and save on your next APs by not getting them until closer to your next trip.

Yes, if you will be there at the time they expire, just go to any Guest Services locations (at all Theme Parks and also at DD) and they can renew your APs. Just have a photo ID and your blue DVC membership card for the discount.

We've renewed ours in the past even prior to expiration. The new AP will still have a full year from the expiration date of the original pass - you will not lose any days by renewing early. There is no need to get a voucher.

Enjoy! :)

Yes, Doc is right, you can renew right then, but my point was if you don't plan to travel to WDW in the month or two right after renewal, why not just wait and buy a whole new pass for your next trip so you don't waste half the year on a renewed pass that you aren't using.

We have a tradition of being at the Magic Kingdom when it opens on Xmas day - every day for the last 6 years. Just my wife and myself, but we love it. Won't pass that up.
