Hello...I know that it only takes one annual pass to get the AP rate at a moderate, but can it be a kids AP or does it need to be in the name of the Adult who booked the room??...Thanks, Ted

It has to be in the name of the person booking the room. You can't get by with a kids AP only.

I HAD HEARD ABOUT BOOKING UNDER A CHILD'S AP ALSO.

WHEN I CALLED, THE CM STATED THAT THE AP HAD TO BE FOR THE PERSON BOOKING THE ROOM AND SINCE CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BOOK ROOMS IT WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE TO DO THIS.

I DON'T THINK THAT I WOULD WANT TO CHANCE IT AND MISS THE DISCOUNT.

This is not advice but I would ask...

Has a family where the only AP holder was a child been able to book the room using the child's name and upon arrival, the parent co-signed?

If I have an important question to ask (including asking for driving directions, I am a guy) I try to get a second opinion.

Most of the times I have checked, there are some non-AP discount rates that are within a few dollars of the AP rate. For example for Jan '03 there was an AP rate for All Stars of $49. but there was another discount rate of $55. although perhaps it was restricted only to residents of certain states, I don't recall.
