Hi

Can someone confirm that we only need one annual pass to cover two rooms at the annual pass rate? Also, can the pass be for one of the kids in the group even if the room is booked under an adult's name?

I'm sure these questions have been asked before, but just wanted this clarified before we arrived!

Thanks

I know that you have have another room under the AP rate, as long as the AP holder is staying at the same resort at the same time. I don't know if the AP rates are for adult passholders or child passholders, though. :earsgirl:

You can book up to three rooms at the AP rate.with one AP. I have two rooms booked next week and the CM I talked to said I need to be there to check-in for both. My parents are arriving later in the day then I am. I told her thats not a problem I will be there.
I would not book a hotel using a childs pass because the room is suppose to be in the name of the passholder. A child under 18 can not book a room. The difference in price is about $50-60. But the savings is huge compared to that.

Its up to you but I would have an adult pass. (I happen to have a pass and so does my 10 year old DD)

You will get different views from others.

Hannah,
The AP can be a child's AP. As long as one member of the party, any member, has an AP, the rate will be honored. The room does not have to be booked in the name of the AP holder, as least that's what CRO told me when I booked.
However, I agree with Lori in that it would probably be a whole lot easier if an adult had an AP.
Good Luck!

I have 2 rooms booked at the WL for my stay in December. I booked them both under my name, but one of the people staying in the other room has an AP.:)

Thanks for all your responses. Think I will probably buy the adult AP now instead. Just trying to save a few pounds as travelling with six people from the UK can get expensive!

Please, does anybody know the AP average discount for moderate resorts (Dec 1 - 13). I am out USA and it is difficult ($) to make phonne calls to WDW so where can a find the informations about AP discount in some resorts in the WEB ?

thanks

Gutto

We are staying at POR for the period Dec 8-17. We were given an AP rate of $88 per night.

Hope this helps you.....

A childs AP is fine. The child has to be there at check in.
