Annual Pass Question??

Not sure if this is where to post? My question is....we are planning a trip in Dec. If I buy annual passes before that trip are they good for a year from the date you purchase them? I didn't know if they had set dates or not.

What you get when you purchase in advance is not the actual AP, but a voucher instead. When you first make an actual visit to a WDW park, you bring the voucher to guest services and they issue your activated AP. It is good from a year from the date the activated AP was issued in exchange for the voucher.
