If I use the flex program to buy annual passes do they still become active the first day I use the pass or the day I buy them. We had AP's a few years ago and I think I bought tickets through Undercover tourist and then upgraded them. The last 4 years we've been taking vacations in Europe and cruising all over the place. I thought I was retired from theme parks, but my youngest is 12 and wants to go back to Universal and WDW so here I am planning another Florida trip. We have a cruise booked this Fall out of Miami and since Universal passes are so reasonably priced, and the new water park is opening I was thinking of just getting AP's again. Any help appreciated. Also when can I expect APH rates at the resorts to be released for May.

Hard to say when May AP rates will come out

Could be 3 months out

When rooms are not filling up, you'll see discounts earlier

Flex pass becomes active the first day you use them. You just pay earlier. If you are only doing one year, your payments will stop before your passes are no longer valid.
