If I were to buy an annual pass online today would today be the first date on it (meaning it would expire June 9, 2016) or would it begin the first time I use it? I am going down July 11 (I often go down twice a year so I'm thinking it would pay for my trip this July, December and then if I schedule it a little earlier next July I would get 3 trips out it.

First day of use starts the ticket. You get 366 days, since it expires on the anniversary date of that first use.

And including Feb of 2016, we get 367 days b/c of Leap Day. ;)

You can enter the park on the day of expiration, by the way.

Thanks, didn't want to buy it now and then have it expire next June vs. July which would defeat the purpose.

Just ordered the fast pass (I thought about getting the top level one but saw the express pass doesn't start until 4 pm). I (thankfully) read the email confirmation after purchasing advising that the pass will automatically renew unless I notify them in writing within 30 days of the expiration date.

Is there a time limit before activating the AP? Like if I bought one now and didn't activate it until Nov/Dec, would that be an issue? I'm thinking that it would make sense to by ASAP if there's no time limit to activate it before the price goes up again.

You must be doing flex pay.

It activates at the first time through gates unless is some special offer.

We purchased our AP's last October, and didn't activate them until we arrived May 1st. No problem whatsoever. Now, they do not expire until May 1st, 2016.

Just got my annual pass via FedEx. Question. In 2006 I had an annual pass and if memory serves I had to go to guest services to get a permanent ID with a picture. Do I still have to do that?

No longer a id dad with picture. Been gone for many years.
