Are club level rooms usually included in annual pass holder room only discounts?

Good question! I'm curious too! Disney has alwats claimed that the number of rooms for any discount may be limited, so I'm guessing it will be all about demand. If a CL room opens up, it would never hurt to ask!

We had a passholder discount on our GV CL room at the Poly last month. It was 40% off.

Yes I've routinely seen CL rooms available. What seems to be scarce however are the Deluxe CL rooms. I was able to book one at BC art30% off, but I never saw it offered again after that. There are very few of them, that's probably why.

Good! So, are AP discounts generally a little better (about 5%) than the General Public discounts? I am trying to decide if buying an AP will be worth it for me.

Right now the AP discounts are 25-30% - which I think is the same (or worse) than the current Spring discount - BUT there seem to be a lot more categories available under the AP discount than are offered under the Spring discount. Late last year the AP discount was 40%, that's the best I've seen.
