Annual Pass Question

Hey everyone.. I am Dani! I am new to the boards .. well being a member that is. I have been following them for a few months just never officially signed up. The information on this site is AMAZING. I love all the updates about the park and hearing little tips here and there.

Anyway.. on to my question! My mom and I are thinking about getting annual passes. We know with the passes you get some good deals on the resort hotels. I was just wondering if anyone knows about how much of a discount you receive?

I believe you are asking about room discounts at the on-site hotels, right? If so it depends on the season and how busy they plan to be. For example, for my dates in September the rates on a room at DLH is $159 a night, which I believe is the lowest they go. Other days it's closer to $250-300.

OK a little hijack, when my DGF purchased her DAP orginally thought it was going to be fore me but I did not need it so she changed the name and stuff but forgot to change the birthdate...OMG I am about 20 years older than her so how can I fix this. She will not activate the pass for a couple more weeks.

She should leave it alone and the CMs will be so impressed and want to know her beauty secrets! I suppose she could go to the AP center if it matters that much and just say there was a mix up in the date.

When we upgraded our PH last week, they used our data from our prior DAP (pictures too as kids had face paint that day). He noticed that they had originally put my DS birthday in wrong and he corrected it at that time. I'm not sure it would be much of an issue for her to have this corrected.

Besides getting discounts on the Disney-owned hotels, you can also get some GREAT (as in, half price) rates at the Anaheim Hojo.
