I am thinking about getting an annual pass next year for our vacation. I have never done this before but am thinking I may go back again the following year for the opening of Cars Land. My question is Disneyland.com or at Disneyland the only places where you can get annual passes. I know Costco used to sell them but I heard they no longer do. Is the price usually $299 for the deluxe or can you get them cheaper? Thanks everyone

I love it when someone has a AP question! And wants to be come a AP holder!!

I bought my Park Hopper from LastMinuteTravel online for $148 and some odd cents. I took it to the AP Processing Center in DL on my 3rd morning, fully expecting to pay $151 to upgrade to the $299 AP. The Cast Member said I owed $115 -- which would be the case if I had paid the online Disney price of $184 for my 3-Day Hopper. But I didn't. I only paid $148. So I told her that I had bought my ticket at a discount, how much I paid, where I got it, I was prepared to pay the higher amount, etc. She just said, "Thank you for your honesty, but this is fine." So I have no idea if this is the way upgrades from discount tickets are normally handled or if I had a little pixie dust come my way that day.
