Annual Pass Question

Sorry if this might be a stupid question but had to ask. Co-Worker just got back from Universal and has the Premium Annual Passes since they go down a few times a year. Are these passes coded with his information on it or could I flip him a few bucks and use his three passes for myself, wife and child? Wasn't sure how those annuall passes worked. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've had Premium passes in past years and the Power pass right now, and all of our passes have always had our picture on them. There is also a SKU type thing on them that gets scanned when you enter the parks.

I don't know if this would prevent you from using your friend's pass...I mean, he/she paid for it, they are the legal custodian of it, and you have his/her permission to use it. IMO, you ought to be allowed to use it, but I also wouldn't be surpised if USO (or any other theme park for that matter) doesn't allow this to keep revenues up.

Why should they "ought" to be allowed to use it?
The answert is plain and simple. No you can not use someone elses pass to get into the parks. If the question is could you get away with it (theft by deception) no, not unless the person is your twin. The passes have a photo of the person on it.

I have to agree that you shouldn't be allowed to use it. The Ap's are actually fairly reasonably priced. If you could pass these off to other people I doubt it would stay that way. Fork your money over like the rest of us. Is $100 for 5 days really alot when you compare it to 5 days at Disney?

AFAIK, the answer is 'No', you cannot officially use it.
