Annual Pass purchase with DVC benefit

Can we purchase our annual passes with my DVC discount at the Internation Gateway enterance of Epcot? Or am I better off purchasing prior over hte phone and get a voucher number? Let me know your experiences. Thanks.

Yes, you can purchase it at IG. Just make sure to have your DVC card and photo ids for all adults.

Yes, you can purchase the AP with DVC discount at any Guest Services location, including International Gateway and DD.

I've picked up my AP at International Gateway without any problem. I've also redeemed vouchers there with no problem. There is less traffic there so the wait isn't usually very long. Since you have to pick the actual AP up at one of the Park entrances anyway I don't see the advantage of purchasing the voucher ahead of time unless you hear that there is going to be a price increase before you visit. The past few years the price increase has occured in August so if you are planning to visit in August or later then you would want to purchase the tickets before the price increase. You will need your DVC membership card and ID (Drivers License for all adult family members residing at the same address) when picking up the AP's either new or with a voucher so remember to take them with you. You can not purchase or pick up AP's in the resort hotels.

We are soon to be there and buying an AP for each of us. My oldest son, 17, has a photo id but my youngest, 12, does not. Do I need to carry his passport or birth certificate or what do you all think?

My DS17 did not need to show photo id, neither did my DD15. We just renewed their DVC PAP's in December and at first they were asked for ID and then I told the woman their ages and she said they didn't need to show any then.

There are two Guest Services locations in DTD. One is inside near Team Mickey and the Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique picture area (just through the inside of Savarski Crystal shop). The other is a kiosk in West Side near AMC and the steps to Pleasure Island sad2. I know that one closes near 11 pm.
