I have the following tickets linked in MDE:
4-day park hopper
Premium DVC annual pass (expires 08-05-2014)
Regular (not premium) DVC annual pass renewal voucher
I bought the 4-day park hoppers when I thought we werent going to renew our APs. But a couple of weeks ago, we decided to add a March 2015 trip. Because it was cheaper to get APs to cover both trips, Ill save the 4-day park hoppers for another trip.
I have two questions:
(1) I dont want to use the park hoppers in September. Ive read posts here that say I will need to go to Guest Services to have my tickets prioritized. Do I really need to wait until my trip to do that? I see in MDE that I can select my active park hopper and click Deactivate this card This card cannot be used while deactivated. You may activate it at any time. Wouldnt this accomplish the same thing? Or is that too simple?
(2) Are FPs tied to a particular ticket or just to MDE in general? Im trying to get this straight before my 60-day FP+ booking window opens next week. I have visions of scheduling all of my FPs, getting to the park, turning in my AP voucher, prioritizing my tickets, and losing all of the FPs because they were associated with a 4-day park hopper as opposed to my AP.
