Annual Pass P&PP Fireworks Viewing

Has anyone signed up for the priority viewing spot for the fireworks at the February Pirate and Princess Parties? I am wondering where the spot is. I can't get into the passholder web site because I expired on 12/6 and don't plan to renew until I get to WDW on the 17th of Feb. Or are there any AP holders out there who can describe the sign up process? Is it like the Nemo previews where you just printed out your confirmation and the number of people and had to show it with your AP to get in?

I can't find the information on this either. I'm about to buy my ticket. Just want to make sure there isn't a link I'm missing. I'm going on the 5th.

ANNUAL PASSHOLDERS PRIORITY VIEWING OF FIREWORKS

Annual Passholders who purchase tickets for the February dates via the AP website can sign up for priority viewing of the "Magic, Music and Mayhem" fireworks. Check the AP website for this offer to appear.

I wonder if this was just rumor. I don't see anything on the site. I'm going to wait a little while to buy my ticket to see if this appears, but I'm not setting myself up to thinking it's going to happen.

That is the announcement I saw too. It was also mentioned in the weekly newsletter from allears.net. Our party date is February 22d as well and since it could be fairly crowded that week because of President's Day I thought this was worth looking into. My tickets are already being held at Will Call because I ordered through DVC member services so I don't know if I could qualify for the special viewing anyhow. But I will have an active annual pass by the night of the party. Thanks in advance for any info you might uncover that you pass along!

I just signed up for 2/22. You sign up online and then print out your confirmation. On the night of the event you must present your printed voucher, ap, and a photo id at the viewing area, which is located at the Swan Boat Landing across from the Plaza Restaurant. Sounds like a good deal.

Where is the priority viewing area? I am debating whether it is worth trying to get an exchange certiicate number in time to sign up for the 22d. Thanks.
