annual pass on disney.com

does anyone know why the annual pass rates on disney.com are so much cheaper than the advertised rate? they were $379 adult/ $322 child....everywhere else has them listed as over $400 each..........this is not for the fl pass....is it bc i looking to buy them 4 months in advance?

i remember reading somewhere that disney wanted people to buy from them in advance so that they were offering comparable in advance rates.....can anyone verify?

Wow I did not know that. We just used our annual for the second time this year but it is up in a couple of days. We usually try to buy them one at a time and spread out the cost over the year. We just looked at them a on line and they were 406 for adults. I saw it on the disney site and I thought it was Disney.com. Can you tell me how you found this rate or what page to go to ? I also heard the rumor that there will be a new AP with black out dates and not for use of the weekend at a lower rate. That would be great since weekends in the summer are unbearable at MK.

When they add the taxes the adult ticket is $403.64 at www.disney.com and the childs ticket is $342.93. Once you put them in your basket and go to check out....then it adds the taxes.

i didn't realize that about the tax....wow...that's alot....does anyone know about the military discounts via shades of green?

I would assume that he could, if these were a gift.

Otherwise, I think that the military member might have to be present/traveling with you.

However, I'm not the super authority on this. I buy military tickets for my family, because I'm with them when they use them.

It can't hurt to ask.........

but had to leave a message...on their site there is no annual pass price listing on the excel sheet they have on their site that lists the prices...it USED to be there but on the updated version it's not....also, you can't get the annual passes at the ITT on the bases (at least not at the base by my house).

i got thru to sog & they still have the annual pass rate of $371/311. i mentioned to them that it was left off the site...i guess if enough people call about it, then they will remember to add it.

I downloaded their latest spreadsheet last night and was really surprised that the AP prices weren't there.

They were posted on ALLEARSNET though- so that's where I got the prices.
