Annual pass exchange certificate question

Just looking for a little verification that the exchange certificates have no expiration date. I did a search on the forum but didn't find anything. I sent an email to MS and was told they do not expire (unless its for a renewal, in which case the new pass expires one year from the end of the old pass).

But since we don't always get consistent answers, I just wanted to check here.

There are specialty tickets available at times that expire. These might include convention tickets, FL resident specials, AP (and similar) renewals and AAA specials. But otherwise, they are good forever until activated as long as you don't lose them and even then if you have the receipt you should be OK.

I too have the annual pass vouchers offered as a partial incentive for a past SSR addon. My dilemma is deciding whether or not to activate them on this November trip or not. We will positively get the full use of them as we always have annual passes. My concern is watching the prices go up and possibly missing out on the $100 saving DVC now offers if we were to buy this year. Of course, I realize prices will go up every year, but the uncertainty of not knowing how long our great perk will last makes me anxious to buy this year and save the vouchers until next year.
