Annual pass discounts

I knw this is a constant question but for those who have traveled to WDW in May - Do you think a better AP discount will come? Trying to decide if we should get one or what to expect.

Yes, I think a better AP dicount will come. But you don't need to run out and buy one. You only need the AP when checking in, if at all, not when you make the ressie.

I've never been asked to show my AP pass at check-in.
