I really need a Burger King coupon for Universal!! We called and ordered our tickets online and gave them the code that someone had posted. We were told we had to bring the coupon when we activate our cards. The problem is we are not going to Universal until the first week of October. My e-mail address is Tluvs2talk@aol.com. If anyone has a coupon they can mail me let me know and I will send you my address. THANKS!!!!

Teri

Tluvs2talk, when I printed out my receipt there wasn't any mention at all on it indicating that I needed to bring the coupon with me when I pick up the annual pass at Guest Services.

We printed our receipt too, and nothing mentioned on it. We are picking ours up at the park......... I assume since the offer is on the front page of the univ. site they no longer need it, esp. if it's an online purchase... I'd call univ. and ask to make sure. I have a coupon..... but will hold on to it, just to be safe. If anyone gets and definate info, please post.

After speaking to a supervisor at the Annual Pass Hotline (and verified by a supervisor in Guest Services), I can assure you, you do not need a coupon to activate your 2 YRS. FOR 1 pass if you've ordered online. In fact, it's the same for those who purchase these passes at the gate. The person working at the gate will KEEP the coupon at the time of purchase. You will then move on to have your picture taken, etc. In other words, when you go in to activate your pass, you will no longer be in possession of the coupon. If you order online, you have fulfilled your end of the bargain by providing the code, and do not need a coupon. Your name is in the computer as having purchased these passes. Go have your picture taken and enjoy. If it makes you feel better, call the Annual Pass 800# and speak to a supervisor. Some of the employees there are obviously not clued in to what's going on.

Tluvs2talk,
I believe this deal ends 9/30/03, so when you arrive in October, the coupon will have expired anyway. Why would you need to bring along an expired coupon? I think the person you spoke to is very confused.

Thanks everyone for repyling. Tigger Woods I was also wondering why we needed the coupon when we had the coupon #. We ordered our 2 year passes yesterday. The ticket salesperson told us our passes would start the end of September, even though we aren't using them till October. We were told to bring our coupon with us when we activated our pass. I'm not that worried about having a coupon since we will have our passes showing the 2 year deal. I just thought I would cover all the bases just in case.

Hello everyone,

I've been lurking here for a while, & finally decided to register.
We are heading to US/IoA the first week of Aug.
Been twice & love it! :jester:

The 2 for 1 deal looks great!
This thread has answered several questions I had such as not needing to be a FL/GA resident.

However what I am now wondering is if all the Burger King coupons have the same code # on them?
For those who have more than one coupon, could you check this out?

I am ready to order our passes on-line, but am concerned that I may need a coupon that matches the code I use when ordering.
From reading this thread it appears we will not need a actual coupon, but if we do we will pick one up on our drive in.

Really my main question is, do the BK coupons have various code numbers? The reason I ask is that if many people use the same code it may raise a red flag?

Thanks!

Yes, they all have the same number..... I have a coupon and everyone who has posted the number, here and on mousesavers, all seem to have the exact same #.

Thanks wendypooh, order placed!

It seems the code simple lets you access the page to place the order.

Current AP Holders-

We called last week to renew our APs, and the gentleman on the phone asked us if we wanted to renew for one year at $99.95 or do the BK 2 year renewal for $169.95.
We told him that we didn't have the coupon, and he said "that's okay, I have the numbers and can put it in for you."
We might activate the vouchers in Sept, but even if we wait until December to activate them- they won't expire until 9/05. That works out to about $10 a month per pass. Not too bad!!!

I wonder if they are allowing you to go ahead & get the 2nd year deal without the coupon since you were on the phone. My daughter's friend & his parents went last week and bought the annual pass....they didn't have the coupon & the were NOT allowed to get the 2nd year free... If they get a chance to go between now & 9/15, they have the coupon and are going to see if they will allow them to change it to the 2nd year free....

I'm not sure if it was because we were renewing and not buying new APs or maybe because we called the AP phone number..... whichever it was, it worked out for us just a bit cheaper than renewing for one year.

I hope that your friends will be able to upgrade their passes........

I didn't think I could use the 2 year for 1 annual pass offer because we aren't arriving in Orlando till end of October. But I just read Tluvstotalk post about arriving in October. So can I still get this offer and activate the passes in October knowing they will expire end of September 2005?

Maybe I should call!!! Anyone have that number?!

Robinette-

We won't be going to Universal until early December, but the 2 year price for the BOGO is cheaper than an Annual Pass Renewal at $99.95 per year.

Good luck!!

Robin......... as long as you "BUY" the pass before the promo expires your good. You do need to realize that no matter what your 2 year deal will expire in 2005..... but that is regardless of when you actually use it........ whenever your trip is doesn't really matter. We bought ours a couple of weeks ago, and we are going on our trip next month.... many others are not going on trips till the end of the year......... and buying thier AP's now. This is an AWESOME deal for anyone, regardless of when your trip is.

This is what I found on the Fan Club web site...

That is what scares me. I guess the best thing to do is call and ask. I'll remember to write down the name of the person I speak to.

Robin -

Others have posted that the USF ticket office has stated that the passes can be activated after 9/30/03 but still expire on 9/30/05. There was also a post that mentioned one might be able to activate a pass over the phone.

Best bet is to call yourself and talk to a rep. Write down their name and the date you called and you should be safe.

All right guys, I called. Spoke to Mathew at online guests services(1-888-322-7119) and I called park guest sevices(1-888-837-2273), spoke to Tora. They both said you must activate the pass by September 30, 2003 to get the second year free! If you activate after September 30 you will have a regular one year pass. I'm hoping someone proves me wrong...:(

I'm glad you called....... and got the info, but a lot of other post on here have said different, just like dvc stated. I don't know, and it doesn't apply to us, since we're going in aug. but, the info I gave and that dvc gave is what is being posted elsewhere on these boards. I'm VERY sorry if the info is wrong, but it seems like people are being told many different things......... it is likely if you call back you may be told something different. Again, sorry for any confusion or misinformation........ just posting what I've read. I do hope you go to the park and have fun either way!!! This is a good source for info, but as always...... it's a good idea to check for yourself!!!

:D
