Annual Pass and Fastpasses

Hi, this is our first time using the Fastpass system with Annual Passes. Since we are staying off site in December we need to arrange our FP 30 days out which is coming up on Nov 15th. How do we set up fastpasses in My Disney Experience? How does the system know when we are 30 days out of we aren't staying in a package on site? Thanks!

Linked APs have an open 30-day booking window that rolls forward each day.

They just go by the current date. If you logged on today, you could book FP for December 7th, but not December 8th.
