annual meeting, should we go? Any freebies?

Lo and behold, my VWL statement tells me that we will be at WDW during the VWL annual meeting (well, we'll be there for the BWV one too but we won't be in yet--the VWL one isn't until 2:35!) I want to go over to vWL to check out the decorations anyhow (we are at the Poly this time)--should we make time for this? Is any cool stuff involved? We'll just be getting in at noon after leaving home at 3:45 AM, and I don't want to subject my kids to an hour of maintanance expenses, etc. before we go to MVMCP that night. Would you go, or would you stay at the Poly and swim?

I think all the WDW resort DVC meetings are being held at Boardwalk. I went to last year's BWV meeting and to be honest, I think your kids would be bored. They did have a continental breakfast, but since VWL's meeting is in the afternoon, I'm not sure if they will have snacks. Last year they did give everyone the 2000 castmember DVC pin. Maybe someone will attend the OKW meeting this Thursday and could let us know what they cover.

We have been to some of the OKW meetings. Often Mickey and Minny are there in their Santa outfits. They usualy give something away. There is always someone that suggests something be added to the resort that would make the dues go up. That is always fun to see. They used to have programs about the expansion plans but might not this year. there is always a good report on the web.
