annual family photograph

Hi again everybody

You all have been so helpful so Im going to ask another odd question. Every year we always have a family photo taken. This year since we are now DVC members and we anticipate going to WDW each year, we thought we would have a family photo taken at WDW.

Any suggestions on who we should contact at WDW or any suggestions on where we should have the picture taken?
My family consists of my DH and 2 DS (4 year old and 8 month old). We will be staying at BCVs in September.

Hi.

We're fairly new DVC members also. On our upcoming trip we are having a family picture taken at Studio M at downtown Disney. We were told it's at Downtown Disney close to the Ghiradelli ice cream store. No appointment necessary.

When it's your turn, I guess you walk back into a room with Mickey Mouse himself! Kind of a private character greeting from what I was told. I saw a post where someone paid around $30.00 for a small package (like 3 5" x 7"s and 12 wallets). I think they can also do backgrounds of the castle too. We're having this done in about 10 days, so I'll definitely post our experience along with my Beach Club Villa studio report.

We have been members since '98 at BWV and so far it has only been the two of us. We haven't started taken family photos but because we are in the process of adopting a baby we have ideas where we want to take the annual picture. For us at BWV there is a yellow high back couch at the entry of the lobby that we see people using as a place to take the picture. We decidied that this would be the constant every year pic. Of course there are many places to take great pics. I would suggest scouting out places that are special for your family. It could be the same place or different place each year. Have the kids come up with their top two or three places and have a vote. Maybe one place can be the same place every year and the other place can be the choice of the year. I might even try this myself. We'll be scouting out the perfect spots in 22 days! Say cheese!

We have had a family picture taken each year we have gone to WDW, and we have done it at a different place each time. One year we did it at the Breakfastasaurus in AK, one year it was at Chef Mickey's, and this past year we did it in front of the castle at MK. The photograph in front of the castle was fantastic and very professional. The photographers are generally easy to find for this picture, too.

Hi,

We used "Studio M" before we were DVC members.
The trip package included FLEX features as part of the deal.
I think 4 out of 8 of us chose the picture, an 8x10 that you can pick up the same day. Above average quality, better than most of our kids "School" pictures.

Littlestar's info is correct. Not appoinment, 1st come 1st serve, but I have never seen a line.

Makes a nice remembrance of a Magical trip.
