Annual Dues

I am a recent owner(2012) . It seems as though the annual dues are rising rapidly. Have they been rising at this percentage for years? I'm worried it is going to be SUPER expensive eventually. UHOH!!

The answer - it depends on where you own. Every year in December someone does a historical look at dues. Do a search on Annual Dues History of Dues, and I'm sure the thread will return.
On a different one, you can have Membership Accounting pull the assessment monthly so the pain is annualized.

I guess I was a little surprised this year when I got my dues statement, but then again, the points I bought 11 years ago are still worth what I paid for them. I always think about what I'm paying based on the cost of the dues each year rather than the cost of the points. That's more realistic for me. That's why I'm hoping to make better use of the points in the future. How many vacations can I get for my dues.

BCV, BWV, OKW, SSR and VWL all have had reasonable increases in the last 5 years. It's AKV and BLT that have had increases that are much larger than those other resorts.

I know you are concerned with WDW DVC resorts, but VGC had the highest %age increase last year.
