Continuing to get all of our DVC questions out. I saw a thread a little while ago of potenitally another tower being built at BLT where the other wing is located. Let's say DVC expanded BLT for another tower in the future. How would this be funded? I just wanted to confirm that they would not increase annual dues to accomplish something like this.

Thanks.

it would be funded the same way they are funding the first bay lake tower...by selling real estate interest contracts.

if you pay $16,000 or so for a 160 pt BLT contract, you are buying a teeny-tiny percentage of that building. it's like buying a house - except you are only paying for a tiny part of the usage of the house, instead of all-day-every-day ownership.

dues pay for annual maintenance. after you buy a house, you have to pay to insure it, to mow the lawn, to maintain the plumbing...annual dues for DVC are like these fees.

Annual Dues are used to operate and maintain resorts, not build them.
