Annual Dues and new contract

We just received our contract acceptance last month. I went on DVC website and noticed that I owe annual dues for this year. Isn't that included in the new contract? Please help

You have to start paying dues from the date you signed up for the contract. If it was after 1/1, they should pro-rate for this year.
