Anyone ever been? Is there a question and answer segment of the evening?

I was thinking about possibly attending one to voice a few of my concerns and wanted to get an idea of what to expect?

Also does anyone know whether there is child care available during the meeting?

The Annual Meeting is very scripted to follow the legal requirements established by the State of Florida. The formal meeting takes only 10-15 minutes. There is a brief Q&A period that occurs either before or after the formal meeting where members can pose questions to the board members, but the questions are limited to budget items.

After the meeting is adjourned, the DVC board members and DVD and DVC management mix with the crowd and answer questions on a one-to-one basis.

In the past my experience they act like they are listening, they thank you for your comments, promise to get back to you but they never have.

IMO they are well aware of everything that is going on, they have their reasons for what they do and they will not share the reasons why.

That's pretty much been our take as well. If the OP has an issue they want to make, its probably best to put it in a letter.

From what I understand, they no longer have an open Q & A. But they typically do have a presentation of upcoming changes at the resorts after the 10 to 15 minute business meeting.

I hope that those in attendance who get a chance to talk to management will express their dissatisfaction with the website and other issues and not just tell them how much they love the DVC.

Lol, considering that I was told on these boards that " there is not enough time for mousekeepers to clean the rooms" is a perfectly legitimate excuse when you get a dirty villa, I wont hold my breathe

I thought about standing up and pro-testing with a sign but they have uniformed and plain clothes security in attendance.
