Annoying Commercials

I was just watching a Fabrese commercial. The mom says "My daughter's clothes are stinky and gross." Then she sprays them with Fabrese to get the nasty smells out. Hey I have an idea, why don't you wash them.

Just wondering if anyone has seen a commercial that rubs them the wrong way like that.

The commercial for paper towels where the kid shakes up a soda bottle and opens it on his mother. The mother then sprays him with the water from the sink. I can't stand that commercial! If anyone did that to me, in the house no less, I'd want to kill them! I certainly wouldn't encourage the boy to do it!

I can't stand a McDonalds commercial. It's the one with the mom who has two kids on a playground and she calls them to come on and they won't listen to her. She has to use a crumpled up McDonalds bag to get them to listen and come. Sheesh - what a lame representation of parenting. "Come on boy.. come boy.. momma will give you a french fry.. GOOD BOY!!! patting them on the head"

I got a coupon for Quizno's, and threw it away immediately! That is the GROSSEST Commercial ever!

ICK!!! I totally agree. My comment to DH when we first saw that commercial was that the person in charge of advertising should be fired!! Of course the commercials are somewhat effective. We are talking about them!

I definately vote fot the Quizno's commercial with the dead rodents...in life they may have been hamsters

Yep the Quizno's commercials are just...well, weird!

The dead hamsters singing and you can't even understand them so the words are on the screen...just plain weird!

I absolutely cannot stand the Yoplait commercials "It is sooooo good". I am embarrassed for those women. "drivin' barefoot good"! "no tan line good!" "night without the boys good!"

Oh brother.

Actually, the Quiznos thingies are sponge monkeys. I find them hysterical, but I guess it's an aquired taste.

although it is kind of unrealistic how the pop just 'squirts' out of the bottle...

As for commercials I hate....the AARP life insurance commercial, "Larry, we really need more life insurance..." and the Liberty Diabetes Supplies commercial. Not that they are particularly annoying once or twice, but they play on PAX tv CONSTANTLY! My son and I can recite them line by line.

I got one. It was out a few years ago. There was this man demonstrating how great the vacuum cleaner will pick up pet hair. Their was a golden retriever laying on the couch and it got up and there was clumps and clumps of hair left. Then the man casually walks over and vaccuums the pet hair up with the vaccuum. I couldn't get past how much hair that dog left on the couch. I mean all he did was get up! He's going to be bald by the end of the week at the rate he is shedding!

I might have the wrong product but I think it's Herbal Essence (?) or some hair care product. Anyway it's "organic" and the women are oooohhh and ahhhhing all over the shower. When DS8 walked in on one of those, I was TOTALLY embarassed. Of course he thought they had a stomach ache!!!!

ANY feminine product commercial and . . .

I did not think I had one that bugged me, other than the local car dealer ones. But when someone posted about all the oohing and ahhhing shampoo one....yep...tat one annoyed the heck out of me.

I always hated those "not so fresh feeling" feminine commericals. When I was a child I remembered seeing them and being very confused.
