Announced: Kim Possible "like" adventure coming to Magic Kingdom

The Disney Parks blog just announced/confirmed a new interactive game is coming to the MK in 2012 called "Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom." You can find out more on their blog.

Looks and sounds like it will be a great addition to the park! I sort of thought this would be incorporated into the Fantasyland expansion, but apparently most of it will take place inside Adventureland.

This is going to be really good. I don't think it's only going to be Adventureland, I think the plan is to have it all over the park.

Kim Possible is really fun, but a lot of people are put off it or don't try it because it's a kid show that isn't even on anymore. It's so much better to have it tied to a classic character/theme.

We love KP too. My daughter Maggie (DD13) cracked me up when I told her the news. Her words, "Epcot is now dead to me."

KP at epcot is so well done!!!
we did 5 of the countries on our trip last month (mexico, germany, UK, Japan, China) - so very clever.
It's clear they invested a good deal of effort - both in the effects and the script.

i would think that it will be more difficult to do at MK - epcot is so big, you can have many people playing the game at the same time. I wonder how they'll manage that at MK. I can't wait to try it out!!

by the way, when we were in adventureland last week - we noticed several small areas under construction - i wonder if they're related to this new game.

That would be sooo fun! dd's did all of KP's missions in Epcot this trip! They LOVED it! Something like that in the MK would be awesome!

Now we all await the soft open, i'd love to be approached by a CM in the next two weeks & asked to try out the new game. Either way I look forward to playing it next December.
