Wendy (me) 46 but feels 21 in mind - Disney mad, the planner
John (DH) 46 - getting almost at Disney mad as me
Glen (DS) 14 - our lovely little boy one minute, stroppy teenager the next and mature young man occasionally
Ashley (DS) 11 - the loud one! A lot of this holiday has been based around his needs with him being very special.
Tuesday 23rd October 2007
Forecast 90 degrees.
The boys are playing on their PSPs again, wish wed left them at home(the PSPs not the boys) so took breakfast back to the room for them!
Caught the bus to DTD to look around the shops that we had missed on Saturday. First thing we came across were the fountains.
First stop was the Christmas shop and I darent tell you how much I spent in here!
Ashley got fed up with me browsing he went outside to play in the fountains and got drenched. We went in the Memories shop where John bought me a Jack Sparrow print, then onto the sport shop where John and Glen bought some clothes and hats. Somewhere along the way we came across some CMs giving out YOAMD lanyards and pins, they gave us one each.
This photo is in one of the shops but Ive included it as my son looks very peculiar dont you think! Talk about being flexible.
Forgot to say while we were in the sports shop an English CM noticed the boys wearing England caps and came over to tell us about the shuttle taking off shortly. I knew about it but thought we would be out of luck being able to see it, he showed us where to stand and waited with us, we saw the vapour trail for a while.
Time for food, we shared two counters service credits at Wolfgang Puck Express which was delicious (pizza and chicken tenders). It was very hot outside so Ashley decided to go and get wet again, Glen joined him so by the time we had to catch the bus they were dripping. Would you believe they still wanted to go for a swim which we did before getting ready for MNSSHP.
Can you see our room on the top floor just under the pointed roof with an orange Halloween door hanging?
The journey was extremely slow due to a lady getting on the bus with a motorised wheelchair, she said she had never driven one before and trying to park it on the bus was quite a challenge. Eventually we arrived at MK, got our wristbands and made our way to Liberty Tree Tavern. Cost $144.37/4 TS credits.
Full to the brim we made out way outside to do some rides, watch the villains show, parade and collect some candy!
