Our 1st park day (on our 1st ever visit to Disney! :flower: ) will be our wedding anniversary (May 8th). We will be at Magic Kingdom that day. We plan on starting off with Crystal Palace for breakfast. Our son will be with, he will be 4. I am looking for suggestions for dinner that night. We plan on taking a mid-day break back at the campground so that our son is refreshed for the evening. Where's the best place for dinner and see the fireworks? We definitely don't want to get a sitter for our son, so it has to be someplace that is good for kids, yet maybe a little romantic.

Edited to add: Doesn't have to be at MK, can be anywhere....

Thanks!

Honestly dinner placesin MK nothing overly special. I would hop the little boat over to WL, eat at Artist point, then go back. It is a great anniversary spot, wonderful food. No problem for your 4 year old they have great kids menu also. Nice atmosphere, great service.

The only thing that I can think of would be CRT but in 2006 it becomes character dinner. We went there for ours and it was very nice they put little things on the table and gave us a window seat, plus they gave us wine glasses with CRT on them.
But I agree with webray most of the reastaurants don't seem special for a anniversary (besides CRT) but maybe you can eat somewhere else on a different night celebrating your anniversary. Because most of the places to eat at Mk are CS.

Well, since we have park hoppers, I guess it wouldn't be a big deal to go to another park or wherever. What are the better choices at other places? As I said we would like to see fireworks from wherever it is..

The best places to see the fireworks from a restaurant are the California Grill, or Narcoossee's. O'hanas is also OK, but I wouldn't really describe it as a "romantic" anniversary dinner type of place--. Kids are common at both CG and Narcoossee's so that would't be a problem.

Maybe I am limiting myself too much by specifying romantic? Really, anyplace is good as long as we can see the fireworks, that's more important than "romantic" Anyone else? I have to call tomorrow morning :earseek:

Just a suggestion but an expensive one at that...

Why not do a wishes cruise? We just did one on our October vacation to see the magic kingdom fireworks. It was the best money we spent. IT was so much fun. It would be a little romantic too!!!

i would say ohana's at the polynesian. its more family casual yet still has that romantic tropical feel, good food & a distant view of the castle & the mk fireworks, plus they pipe in the music.

Definitely do Narcossee's! We had our anniversary dinner there, too! Make sure you tell them it is your anniversary when you make reservations. When we received our menu's they had printed them out for us with a congratulations at the end! Plus, we received a free glasses of champagne. The view for the fireworks are amazing. We watched them from the deck before our food came out. It was such a perfect evening! Plus, there were other children there. So, that won't be a problem!
