Anniversary/Belated Birthday trip

Hello everybody!
Wow this forum is such a lifesaver, so much info!
DH and I are leaving for WDW in a couple of weeks, it is our second trip, and this time we will be spending 7 whole days at the World
This is a condensed anniversary/belated birthday trip for my DH, I was very sick for his birthday so I couldn't do anything for him and he was rather sad
I was wondering if there was any way the CM's at the AKL (where we will be staying), and at the different restaurants we have ADR's can do something special for him/us. When I asked while making reservations the CM let me know about honeymoon pins in MK, do they also sell them at the AKL store?

I am pretty clueless and I really want to make an effort to make this trip extra magic for my DH any wisdom you can share with me?
We are also attending MNSSHP for the first time.

There are several threads regarding special tips/trips for b-days. You can turn them into anniversary ideas as well.
1st -- you can get a b-day pin at EVERY park & DD. Just ask at the park info booth. Each one is different. They do not ask for proof of age so just go for it. Wear the pin with pride! After all it is your whole trip that is a gift right?

2nd there are celebration pins for other events .. like wedding, anniversary what-not you just stick on-to yourself and feel special.

Now as to what happens? Folks will notice you and smile. Kids might point and want one too (had this happen to me in 1999 ) You might get special treatment from some CMs

Make sure when you book your ADRs that you mention it is for a B-Day/Anniversary. Then also make sure you mention at the check in desk with host/hostess to remind them. You might be surprised with what you might get. I got a special placemat, confetti shaped like Mickey at my space and a card sgined by the characters. Then they brought me a cupcake at end of meal. They didn't care that I was turning 35. I got same treatment as little 3year old next to us
Tell everyone when you call .. the hotel ressie included.

NOW remember these are all just MAYBE. The only fursure is the buttons and the feeling of pride that you are in the House of the Mouse during your B-Day.
