Annie & Ed's PJ WP/WHR/France 1/11/11- I'm Back and w/ a preview of Pro-Wedding Pics!

Wow your flowers are going to be beautiful in the candelabra!!! I love the colors they are so soft and romantic!!

So, it's official I won't be able to get my cake...

Karen emailed me to let me know that the cake is $850.00++ and as much as I love that cake, I'm not paying that price for a 3 tier cake and for only 30 guests. So it's back to the drawing board for us...

Bye, bye cake...:sad2:

Oh, I'm so sorry!! I know how excited you were about that cake!

Thanks...hubby and I just talked about it and found a new cake, hopefully this one will be within our cake budget of $500++

The cake will look the like pic below but on tier 1 and 3 will have the image of a french toile and on the top of the cake we will have a large anemone.

Oh I just love love love the flowers that Debbie created! :thumbsup2
That stinks about the Chanel Cake, but you new one is very lovely. I love the French feel of it.

Okay so the second cake I posted is $1200++ and that is not happening either...hubby says to get the $850++ cake but honestly I rather take that money and put it somewhere else. I sent Karen (my planner) another cake and hopefully this is it...

the cake will look exactly like the cake below but larger, it's doesn't look to me like an expensive or time consuming cake, I hope...

I've been speaking to the designer who will be making our custom wine trunk for the ceremony, she has sent some pictures of the process...

This is how the top part of the trunk looks like so far...

The front will have have our names and wedding date but in black and we decided to add the Cinderella birds holing a ribbon with our names in it...

The inside of the lid will of a quote and will be lined with a toile fabric.

I really like how it's turning out, she is doing a great job hand painting everything. :)

We are definitely making changes, our budget is $13k or under....we will be removing the canadian soup and baked ham from the brunch buffet, removing one limo and the mini-motorcoach, instead of the sunshine state dessert buffet we will do the all about chocolate and we will remove the a la carte cocktail. That will hopefully bring us down to where we want to be, if worse comes to worse we'll remove the Welcome Dessert Party.

Your BEO is pretty good, it makes me nervous that your cake is still over $700, how on earth do people get them for les then $500?!? :confused3

Also I'm a bit nervous that it doesn't include floral as well, because I was hoping to get away with mine for $15000, including floral, and it's going to be a dinner! :scared1:

Oh well, time will tell I suppose!

Your BEO looks good- I'm just shocked at how fast the ceremony adds up! I'm also very scared about my cake now- they're probably going to quote me a ridiculous price! :scared1:

I look it over and I can't believe I'm spending this much for 29 guests, that's including us (24 adults, 4 children and 1 infant) I couldn't imagine a Dinner  eek! We are definitely moving forward with removing some of the items. We might do our cake in 2 tiers which cuts the price from $600++ to $450++, still pretty expensive for a simple cake but it's Disney.

We recently had to get a new florist unfortunately Debbie was not able to get the candelabra's I'm looking for but it was great working her, her prices are really good and she is super sweet. We decided to go with InBloom Florist which have been great and have the exact candelabra's I want for the ceremony and reception.

Hi again,

I'm sure you guys have noticed from my BEO that we have added a Welcome Dessert Party for our guests, I can't believe we are able to have that experience.:cool1: From what I read everyone always has a great time and the guests can't stop talking about it. We are also decided to switch dates and theme park, from our Ed & Annie's Magic Kingdom Tour on Wednesday, Jan. 12 to Ed & Annie's Backlot Tour at Hollywood Studios (cheesy, I know) on Saturday, Jan. 8. We didn't have many participants for Jan. 12 because most of the guests will be departing that day. So, my hubby and I made reservations for 18 guests at the Sci-Fi Dine-In for 6:35pm.

I also made the necessary changes to our BEO to get to a number that we are comfortable with....we went from $15617.27 to $13,477.00
