Hi everyone
I'm new and i wish i had found disboards at least a year ago when i started planning our wedding as there is so much helpful info on here!!
let me introduce myself i'm Anna and i'm marrying my DF - Paul
on may 1st 2007 :cool1:

We are having an intimate wedding at the wedding pavilion and then onto GF,
later on we are having a meal at the fireplace room at Victoria and Albert's
followed by the wishes cruise, we have had to book 2 pontoon boats as there are 16 of us in total :cheer2:

We are also having a party back here in the UK in July for everyone who couldn't make it over!

We have got Disney photography and videography as both Randy and Stan were busy, i'm sure they will be fine but would love to see a disney video example - does anyone know of any preview sites??

We've got a total of 8 days at disney then we go on honeymoon down to miami and the keys and then onto St Lucia for 1 week :yay:

As a surprise for all our guests we have booked major domo for the ceremony and mickey and minnie for the commanders terrace, can't wait to see everyone's faces :rotfl2:

:tinker: :dumbo: :donald: :goofy: :mickeyjum

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I hope everything turns out just as you planned. Everything sounds so great and well thought out-- and that honeymoon sounds really nice too;) If you ever need anything feel free to post -- even if you want to just vent!! We are here for you:grouphug: Congrats again!:wizard:

I think this is the third person I've seen on this forum who is getting married this coming May 1st. Congratulations to all of you.

Hi and:welcome: to the boards... Your planning journal sounds great... We hope to hear about the details.. We are all here to help each other out..:grouphug: :disrocks: Greatest boards ever...
Congratualtions...:cutie:

:wizard: congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I would love to see the looks on your guest's faces when Mickey and Minnie show up! That's a great surprise!

Thanks for your messages:)

More info - we have also booked Cinderella's glass coach for the day, i have decided that my mom and dad will ride to the wedding pavilion with me and just me and my DF will ride back to GF!!

We are also going to do the MK photo shoot on the day of the weddding at
6am, so it's going to be a long day :coffee:
We thought about having it the day after but we decided that we'd then have to book hair and make up again and i think i'd prefer a rest the day after!! :drinking1 :headache: :rotfl:

Does anyone who has had the fireplace room at Victoria and Alberts know if they will decorate the room? and can you take your own drinks if you pay a corkage fee?? :confused3

:bride: :groom:

Congratulations on your upcoming Disney wedding :bride:
Sounds like you have some wonderful plans, I'm sure it'll be beautiful. Please share some more details.

Congrats and :welcome: ! You've come to the right place :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Look forward to hearing more of your plans.

Im a fellow British bride getting married at the Wedding Pavilion on 5th April 2007. I am also have Disney photographer/videographer cos no on else was available so I panicked and booked them. We are having the MK photo shoot the day after the wedding at 5am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which will be a nightmare but I guess we will have to just stay up after the wedding!!! We have had to book our make up girl twice but there was no way I wanted my DF to see me in my dress before the wedding. This disboard is great I found it 2 months ago and spend hours reading everyones advice and stories.
We are eating at the Napa room @ California Grill. We looked at Victoria and Albert which was lovely but the seating times were no good for us. Our wedding is not til 5pm. We are also havin Mickey and Minnie and the Carriage. Its getting expensive but its our dream wedding and we dont want to regret not having everything we wanted. Who is your wedding coordinator ?
Claire

Hiya

Yeah i'm v-excited counting down the days!!:cloud9:
your lucky getting 40 guests, we,ve got 14 and it was a struggle to organise them!!:rotfl:

Most of us are flying out with virgin atlantic from manchester, we've booked our hotels separately as it was cheaper that way, the other guests are flying from birmingham with thomsonfly, it seems better now to wait before you book as the prices have gone down since we booked  but i didn't want to wait as it is for our wedding!!

your trip sounds really good i def want to go on a disney cruise in the future! :fish:
have you made anymore plans for your day yet? :bride: :groom:

we dont actually sign the contract till june, cos we're having a custom wedding, but we have provisionly booked the date and it should be ok,as i dont think anyone else could have that date now.
We r hoping to fly with virgin, just waiting for the flights to come out. We've had a rough estimation, and they r so reasonable now! Where r u staying? I really want us to stay at gf for the fortnight but i think it'll be so expensive:sad2:

We are staying at Gf for only 4 nights as it's about £300 a night!!
for the rest of the time we are staying at the fairfield inn - LBV which is really nice and thats where most of our guests are staying!

we have treated ourselves to a magic kingdom view at GF!! :yay:

:jumping1:

I am getting married 4/5/07 also at the WP!!! What time is your wedding ClaireandSimon?:?

I have already bought my wedding dress pictured below

but i have had second thoughts and seen a couple of other dresses with more bling!! pictured below princess:

I really don't know what to do :confused3 any advice which one would you go for??

personally, I like the one that you already bought the best :thumbsup2 but that's just my opinion... my second choice would be the 3rd one.. I guess it all depends on what kind of look you're going for

my favorite is the third one-- but then again thats just me. It needs to be yours so really my opinion doesnt matter here. Everyones dress should be unique to one's own personality...

I know you will find the right one:goodvibes GL:thumbsup2

Hello and congratulations! I am in the UK also - I'm wondering if you got any discounts for group flight bookings, as there are quite a few of us flying out also :)

I can't wait to hear more!
