Anna's planning journal!! Leaving tomorrow!!

I am getting married 4/5/07 also at the WP!!! What time is your wedding ClaireandSimon?:?

Wow thats crazy!!!!!!!!!! We are getting married @ 5pm then champagne reception @ Commanders terrace GF then dinner in the Napa Room @ California Grill, Contempory Resort. We are staying for 7 nights at the GF then going for 7 nights (7th til 14th April) on Western Carribean Disney cruise. What time are you getting married and what plans do you have? I cant believe you are marrying on the same day!

Hello and congratulations! I am in the UK also - I'm wondering if you got any discounts for group flight bookings, as there are quite a few of us flying out also :)

I can't wait to hear more!

We are flying with Virgin (we are paying 800 GBP each which I have never paid before and I fly to our holiday home in Florida every 2 months!). I personally am not a fan of Virgin, the only advantage is its a direct flight but Im a frequent flyer with Continental and they go to Orlando via New York. Virgin have sent me a letter saying I am unable to take any additional bags into the cabin even tho its my wedding. I think thats mean considering the price we are paying. My coordinator is Karen Serrette, she seems nice but I thought the coordinators would make more suggestions than they do. I have found out more info and gotten more ideas from this disboard.
If I can help with anything else let me know, oh and we have 24 guests (some are American friends, so we have 18 flying form UK).

I really don't know what to do :confused3 any advice which one would you go for??

I have finally decided to go with dress number 3

http://www.dayday-online.com/product/wed023.jpg

so it has been a mad dash to order to make sure i get it in time as it's not long to go!

we received our BEO yesturday so it's very exciting now, :yay:

but we might be changing our photography now as we wanted Randy Chapman but he was already booked then we said we'd just have disney, then we heard of misty miotto and she has really good packages, we can spend the same amount that we would be paying disney and have 4 more hours and at least 600 more photos! so we're talking to her now as she is free our wedding day so hopefully we can have her!! :cheer2:

Everything else on the BEO seemed fine, it's really cool reading how the day is all planned out! :cool1:

:yay: :dance3: :cheer2: We have just received our finalised BEO!! :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:

It's so exciting the next time we need to contact our coordinator will be to inform them of our room number at the Grand Floridian!! :scared:

We leave 4 weeks tomorrow and we can't wait, we know it will be here so quick!!

All i need know is for my wedding dress to arrive!!! :hourglass :scared1: :rotfl2:

We've booked Misty Miotto for our photography, she seems really nice, she is going to do the ceremony and toast and then leave us while we go for our meal at the fireplace room, Victoria and Albert's and then join us again for our Wishes cruise so we can have pic's on there too!! :cloud9:

Everything sounds so great! Your dress is beautiful, I'm sure you will be happy about your choice. Good luck with the last few weeks, it really will fly by. Congratulations!! Can't wait to hear how everything goes :goodvibes.

My dress finally arrived :yay: pic below it was made to measure i had asked for Ivory with gold embroidery!

But the embroidery was nothing like the picture, i expected a light gold colour instead they had put this dark gold stuff on and i was horrified i really didn't like it  :sad1:

oh my god it was only 4 weeks to go and i've got a dress i hate!!:sad2:

I had 2 days of mad stress trying to find a new dress that i would get in time, so now i've ordered 2  new dresses so i have a choice they are pic below

They should arrive next week with only 2 weeks to go before we leave :rotfl2: I have to laugh else i would cry (which i have been)

Looking back on dress number 1 it has slightly grown on me, i tried it on with a hooped underskirt and it made the dress look amazing! Everyone should get one i couldn't believe why no one had told me about these before!! :confused3

Did anyone else wear or will be wearing a hooped underskirt? I only happened to read about them on a wedding dress shop site and i'm so glad i did as it really show the dress off well!! :thumbsup2

Oh Dear... you are having a major problem with your dress aren't you. Personally I loved dress 3 (the last choice) but if the embroidery is really awful, then I guess that doesn't work. Dress 3 is the type of dress I wish I had, what website is it from?
Are you just sending back all the dresses you don't want?

Wow! Thats a lot of dress buying! I hope you get the other two very soon! I'm sure whichever you choose, you'll love :) Congrats on your wedding! And good luck!

The first dress on there is a Mori Lee dress, the picture makes it looks wonderful but in real life it wasn't quite what i expected!!

The other 2 i've bought from a dress shop on the internet so i don't know what designer they are yet?? :confused3 basically i was quite desperate as i don't have a lot of time, my DF thinks we are going to be wedding dress shopping in Orlando when we get there!! :rotfl2:

The dresses that i don't want i'll prob sell them on good old Ebay!! :rotfl:

Does anyone who has had the fireplace room at Victoria and Alberts know if they will decorate the room? and can you take your own drinks if you pay a corkage fee?? :confused3 [/COLOR]

This is probably too late but I will post anyway. I have never had or been at the fireplace room but read somewhere (I think the mousesavers website) that you do not need table decoration they will do it for you and you can take your own drinks but they will charge a $25 corkage fee.

Congrats and have a wonderful day!!!

Why they are all very pretty, I think I like the one you've already bought the best!!! It's beautiful...sure they others may have a little more "bling" - but I always go for simple - and the one that you've chosen has just enough sparkle without distracting from your beauty! ;)
Congratulations!!!!!

ANNA - May 1st bride here!!!! Can you believe it is three weeks away!!!:woohoo:
We should met up! I am not supposed to know this but my girls are taking me out on Sunday night the 29th to PI...if you are around we should meet and have a few drinks!!! I am sure you will be able to find us at 8trax!!!party:

About your dress...I bought my dress over a year ago and I had thoughts of picking out another one, but I decided that I pick the first one for reason and not to doubt it. They say to always go with your first choice!!! And your first choice is beautiful!
