Been news surfing tonight and I am just really upset by this story...

What a sad story this womans life was. Even in death its going to be a long drawn out drama that will probably have no end. This is going to be tabloid hell.

I feel really sad for her, she seemed so misguided.

I don't think "misguided" is the word, haha. The definite last thing we need to be doing on here is preachin'. I think, really, she was just very unfortunate. Things happened in her past, she made a whole lot of mistakes, and when she attempted to pick up the pieces (losing weight, taking trips and spending more time with her son, having a baby, getting remarried, etc.) It was, sadly, too late... That's the most tragic part of her story, I think...

i find it funny that the media is pulling so much marilyn monroe stuff into this. apparently smith was obsessed with the actress and wanted to be just like her, including dying at a young age (monroe died somewhere in her 30s i do believe)

i had no idea that smith had such a thing for monroe. interesting. that adds a whole nother edge to this story.

i feel terrible for her. it just seemed so. random.

That'd almost creepy, but still sad. If you've seen some of the photo shoots she's done, I think there's actually one where she's dressed like Marilyn. I believe she also used a lot of Marilyn Monroe's signature "looks" including the pouty, sexy, kissy face.

Now the famed Prince Frederic von Anhalt husband to Zsa Zsa Gabor claims he may be the father of the young girl!

Is Zsa Zsa that desperate for cash?

A good friend of Anna's was interviewed and she said that most likely Anna did not have a will....which could make things even worse.

I wasn't impressed by Anna's mother either.....Not before..and not now...

What I don't get is how all the networks have become
The All Anna All Day Show.

I mean this is a sad story - but almost equally sad is our
unending fascination with "Stars" who are famous for being famous ...or infamous - with no real talent - except of making headlines in the tabloids.

I mean - come on - Anna was just one step up from Paris.

Sadly...I must agree with you...Somehow, I don't feel sorry for Paris like I did for Anna Nicole Smith... Neither of them have (had) real talent... Maybe it is because Paris comes from a lot of money and Anna Nicole didn't...and most of us want the "underdog" to climb up and succeed?

I just wanted to add that Anna Nicole Smith did not come from a poor family they were an upper middle class family, she just didn't want people to know this, so it wasn't widely spread. I just really feel sorry for this baby girl that is going to grow up knowing her mother and brother died months after she was born. I wonder if Anna's mother wants the baby. GOD know I would fight tooth and nail for my daugthers child if I were in that position. Let them go crazy over the money, I would take the baby and tell them all to .......... hehe you know .

I've heard that Howard K. Smith is doing whatever it takes to raise money, including selling photos of the contents of her fridge. (Fox news is banging this drum pretty loudly) Pretty sad. I'm willing to bet we haven't even seen the tip of the iceburg where this story is concerned!
