There were waits like that for Rapunzel when she appeared with Flynn. Once Flynn went away, the waits went down. So it could partially be about having two characters meeting at once, plus their novelty and huge popularity. Merida has had a couple of hours but nothing like this.

I think we all have our fingers crossed that their "solution" to this will not be to take Elsa away.

It might be easier to book a DCL cruise they appear on that! OP I think if a guest wants to see a particular character I don't value them a 'name you called them' . I know it's a long wait but folks want to see these characters. That shows passion. Maybe they ought to spilt the characters up and provide paper FP just for now till they have a permanent meet & greet attraction for these popular characters.

In Norway in Epcot, Anna and Elsa hold a meet and greet. But, lines are always incredibly long to meet them.

And the line is ALMOST always super incredibly long...

Unless you go visit after a massive rainstorm

Very cute picture above!!!!!! My personal opinion is that Disney should cut Elsa.....that way the line will go from 5 hours down to 5 minutes....and then put Olaf in Elsa's place. Elsa is the Queen....and she don't like to be around much people anyway. This is a good solution ......remove Elsa!!!!!

they could also have them meet singly instead of totally eliminating one...do folks want that? They seem thrilled and willing to wait in line 4 hours to have both together.

Just back yesterday & wanted to report that the line is still a 3-4 hour wait. They had it snaked almost all the way back to Mexico, with CMs along the way for crowd control.
