Anna and Elsa FP+ question...

Hello all. My daughter REALLY wants to meet Anna and Elsa when we go down in June. Rather than wait 4-5 hours in line, I thought I could get her a FP+ to meet them. My question is, I have no desire to meet them, but can I stand in the FP+ line with DD with only her having a FP+, or do I also have to make this my FP+ choice as well? Or could she stand in the FP+ line by herself (she is 10) and I can wait for her right outside? Thanks.

If you want to wait in line with her then you will have to have a FP+ too. Would you really want to wait outside while your DD goes inside to meet Anna and Elsa? If you have an extra FP+, what would you use it for that your DD wouldn't want to go on as well?

I was kind of thinking that since my mom would not want to go on Space Mountain, she and my DD could switch bands for that FP+ and I could just book one FP+ for DD to meet Anna and Elsa. Thoughts??

That would work. Have your DD hand a camera to the attendant and she will have photos on the camera and on Photopass/Memory Maker.

IMO a large portion of the magic of Disney is meeting the characters and seeing our daughter's reaction/ enjoyment to them. Are you sure you want to miss that?

I believe she can stand in the line alone with the one FP but - to me - how sad that she would experience the joy of meeting (what I assume) 2 of her favorite characters all alone.

I totally agree! Our last trip we used a lot of FPs to see characters. It was our kids' first trip and I cannot imagine NOT being there to see my kids' reactions, especially our girls. I know it's corny, but seriously, I teared up several times watching them meet their "friends." (kids were 2,4,4)

I am sure that she could wait alone, but I have a feeling that even FP+ lines are going to be long. Do you want her waiting an hour by herself?

My oldest ds is 13 with the rest of the kids stairstepped behind him. I have to say that every trip our favorite part is watching them with the characters. Even ods is a riot to watch with the characters.

HaHa…I'm feeling like a horrible mother now! This is reminding me of Ralphie in A Christmas Story when his friend's tongue was stuck to the pole, and Ralphie says, "but the bell raannggg." (All kinda whiney!) Except I'm thinking, "but it's a Faaasst Paasss!"

I guess we'll have to see how it goes when our window opens. I know she wants to meet them, but I don't know what she'd choose if it was between meeting them and say, Space Mountain.

Thanks for the replies :)
