Animinal Kingdom restaurants - pickie eaters!!!

I want to make reservations for my inlaws in the animal kingdom but I don't know where. I want it to be a good place (table service, a little classy), but it has to be meat and potatoes, nothing ethnic or anything. Maybe in the AKL? Please help, I want to make this a good trip for the inlaws, they have done a lot for is over the years!!!

Not sure you are going to get that in AK or AKL. There's Flame Tree BBQ for CS and Rainforest Cafe for casual food.

FYI - We are on the dining plan, so that means no Rainforrest Cafe.
Also, I've already made reservations for them at Yachtmans Steakhouse for that day that AK is open late. The reservations are for 5.45 - think thats a good time for them to be able to get back to AK and do stuff before it closes or just gets to late for an older couple???

Looks like your going in early December- AK is not open very long at that time of the year, even EMH is only till 8 or 9 so by the time they eat it will be 7-7:30 not worth the return trip to AK. They would probably enjoy going over to Epcot for a stroll around the WS and watch Illuminations more.
