any tips for visiting this resort? We have dinner reservations there and I heard you can see animals and feeding etc...would appreciate any tips

The resort itself is beautiful to just walk around taking in the surroundings, as well as several animal viewing areas that are fun to check out. The gift shop is also nice to walk through as there are some unique things to see/buy .

If you have reservations at Sanaa, that is located in the Kidani area of the hotel - you will park in a covered lot and take the elevator up --BOMA and Jiko are located in main Jambo House and you would park in the main parking area (just wanted to mention that to you in case you haven't been before)...after dinner you can spend a good hour or so just walking around the lodge - enjoy sitting by the firepits, look at the animals from the outdoor deck, check out all the wonderful artifacts they have showcased..sometimes there is a storyteller there who is very good..walk around the pool area and walk down to the Kidani Village - they also have a firepit and a neat check in area..and there is a nice gift shop. Animal Kingdom Lodge is such a beautiful and interesting resort and all the restaurants are terrific -you'll have a great evening there!
