OK i'm going 1st of September and want to do the Donald's bkfast - wanted to do it about 10:00am my concern is the Safari - if i FP b4 eating will i make it back intime, or should i plan to go straight to the Safari and then go eat? What are the lines usually like 1st thing???

Sorry, don't know the answer...but i'm bumping you so that you may!

If you get there at rope drop and head straight to the Safari you should be off it in time to get to breakfast. If you want to ride Everest I would have one member of your party get FP for that on you way to breakfast. You only need 1 person to check in at breakfast and 1 to get the FP. The line first thing will have the people who are at the park for opening that don't go straight to Everest, you should be on one of the first few vehicles.

Either get a FP and go to breakfast,
or ride Safari first then go to breakfast (better plan).

Don't worry about your FP "expiring" before you return, you can still use it later that same day.

In any case, arrive at the park 20-30 minutes before the scheduled opening time. The gates will be opened 10-15 minutes early and you can walk "half-way back" to Safari to the rope-drop area. You'll have no trouble riding very early as many folks will be headed for EE instead of Safari anyway.

BTW, if you want to ride EE, be sure to get an EE FP on your way to breakfast after Safari.
