Hi. We go in a couple weeks. We have ressie for tusker house at 830 am. I've been reading that they have been letting guests in before 8 am and people are riding avatar first thing before park open. Anyone experience that? What has been your plans for AK? Thanks.

When we were there, they were letting people into the parks about 45 minutes before official time.
Not sure if that has changed.
If it is still happening, unless you are near the front of the crowd, you will have a long wait if you go directly to FoP.

One day we were toward the front, very short wait for FoP.
The other day, we headed to dinosaur, then rode EE several times with no wait. Then over to Safari with a minimal wait.

I agree with this. Unless you are at the very front of the line when they start letting people in...that line for FOP builds very fast. You don't want to miss your ADR.

Maybe do a safari first thing and then when you get off you'll be right by the restaurant and you'll be in a great frame of mind for a Tusker breakfast!

Things may have changed.
When we were there, we got in 45 minutes before official opening. Safari didn't open until official time. EE was having some issues so they opened about 30 minutes before.
All the other rides were running.
No shows.

Safari doesn't open early. If you are near the front of the rope drop crowd you "may" have time to ride FOP before your ADR, but I probably wouldn't risk it. Can you get a later ADR? 8:30am is really prime time for low waits.
