Animal kingdom villa upgrade

There are 7 of us staying in a 2 bedroom villa at wilderness lodge. Due to the construction, I'm thinking of switching to the animal kingdom villa. We are going September 6-15. If we get the 2 bedroom standard view, what are the chances.of the upgraded savannah view since it's low season? I know it wouldn't be a definite, but if it's a good chance.i may make the switch.

Close to 0.

DVC units rarely get free upgrades, even if you book through Disney. If you want a Savannah view, book one. DVC aims for a 98% occupancy rate, and September-December is actually DVC high season.

I would make the switch anyway. Construction at WL would not appeal to me.

If you are considering Jambo the standard view villas are on Kudu or Zebra trail and overlook the pool or have a partial/limited savanna view. I'm less familiar with Kidani views - but the Kidani villas are larger.
