Animal Kingdom Vacation Club Reservation?

The DVC website hints at AKVC allowing resort (member) stays beginning in the Fall of 2007. There is even a points chart with 2 and 3 bedroom options for the Fall of 2007. However, when I called, they (the agents) acted like I only spoke greek. Does anyone know when you can start requesting AKVC reservations even though your home resort is another property?

Its in June, but I can't recall the exact date. There is a thread that list all of the important dates. It is located on the DVC miscellaneous board.

AKV owners can start booking there on May 16th using AKV points. All other DVC members can start booking there on June 6th using any resort points, subject to the 7-month window.

Can someone rent points for a reservation at animal kingdom villa from someone not using their points yet? Say like for a Feb. 2008 trip.

Yes - there are already members posting offers to do that very thing on the Rent/Trade Board.
