I will be taking my 5 year old to Animal Kingdom early next month and for those that have gone, did your child enjoy Festival of the Lion King, Feathered Friends in Flight or Disney KiteTails more? I don't think we will spend all day there and I am tyring to prioritize our day. Thank you!

We didn't do the feathered friends in flight, but my 7 year enjoyed Lion King show more, though the kite tails was also a Lion King story. Lol. I'd do the stage show and maybe try to catch part of Kite Tails while walking by. If you plan to eat lunch in the park, you could even grab food at FlameTree BBQ and sit near the water to catch a show. They use most of the lake there, so you should get a decent view.

My son (4) loves birds and we do Feathered Friends EVERY AK trip! It's fun even if you aren't a bird person.

KiteTales is really fun too - especially the Lion King music! But, it is SO sunny to sit there and wait for the show... I wouldn't get there EARLY per se but I'd still try to see it.

FOLK isn't nearly as fun as it used to be. :( I'd skip unless you have a hardcore Lion King lover!

My daughter (8) loved the Lion King show and it was back in August when still the limited show. She loved it. However, we had never seen the previous version. She absolutely loved it but she is also very much into dancing, singing, and Broadway-like productions.

I do not have experience with KiteTales due to our timing. Will definitely check it out next time if still there.

I think it all depends on your child's interests. The Feathered Friends thing was also enjoyable.

Definitely festival of the lion king. That one we all enjoy.
I think my daughter liked the birds show and kite tails show so if you end up seeing those that’s great too. But she didn’t ask to go back to watch either of those the way she wanted to do FOTLK… 11 times.
