Hi! We are planning on going to Animal Kingdom on a Sunday, after July 4th so we are expecting it to be very hot and crowded. However, I am wondering if we got there before opening and wanted to go on EE (possibly 2 times). the Safari, It's Tough to be a Bug, Dinosaur, and Primeval Whirl, how long do you think we need to allow for these(5-6) attractions, again arriving before opening on a Sunday after the 4th of July? Just trying to plan a half day at AK, but realize the attractions we want are probably the most popular ones there.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, as always. THANKS! :sunny:

I'd head to EE first, and get a fast pass. Then after one ride on EE, head to Primeval Whirl. Usually they have both sides going in July. Get another fastpass for the safari. Get into the show (you probably wont have too much trouble) Then either get a fastpass or get in line for Dinosaur. Festival of the Lion King is good for waiting for fastpasses.

Thanks for the quick response. Your plan does sound good.

I was just debating getting a fast pass for Safari while dh and ds did EE first. I am no longer a fan of fast rollercoasters ;) However, if dh and ds love EE, I am sure they will want to ride it again. For those of youu who have been on EE, did you want to get on it for a 2nd time? Do you think we can wait and get a fast pass for EE after we ride Safari with a fast pass or do you think that return time will be much later in the afternoon. I was hoping we could do the 5 attractions, maybe 6 with riding EE two times in a few hours. What do you think? How long will it take us approximately on a hot, crowded Sunday in July to do these main attractions. THANKS so much!! :sunny:

Not sure about the July plan, but I feel pretty confidant that they'll want to ride EE again. It is SWEET!

I usually don't like fast roller coasters, but I loved EE and wanted to ride it a second, third and fourth time :bounce: They will probably want to go again.
In my experience, getting on the rides at AK in the early morning hours is fairly easy. Get a fast pass for the safari or EE and do the other stuff while you wait and you should be fine!
Have fun!! :thumbsup2

I got to AK before the rope drop, beat it to EE right away and got in the standby line, which was only 10 minutes!! If you want to ride 2x in a row, maybe get a FP before you get in line. The only drawback is, that the first FP times seem to be an hour later. Maybe you can do Kali while you wait for the FP 2nd ride on EE.

It is an awesome ride! My family didn't want to ride, so I went to AK by myself while they went to Typhoon Lagoon...boy did they miss out!

Thanks everyone. I hope we can do the rides I listed and get out in a few hours. I remember being in that park in April about 7 years ago(last and only time we went to AK) and it was soooo hot. This will be in July!! UGH!
Thanks again for the thoughts and suggestions!
