Granted it wasn’t Christmas week or EMH (both major differences), but maybe it will have some helpful clues.

Took a 5:56 bus
Held us at security until 6:30
Allowed us thru turnstiles at 6:45
Entered staging area for FofP at 7:01

It depends on the time of year, you just have to check the site or the app. It will not typically open early. Plug in the date you’re curious about here: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/attractions/animal-kingdom/kilimanjaro-safaris/

It doesn't always open with an early EMH. You'll have to ask the CMs when you get there.

Awesome! Thanks for the tip. Looks like 8am this Saturday when the park opens at 7. I can sleep a little longer!
