Animal Kingdom: No Parade or Fireworks or nightly show??

Just making sure I have this covered no king of big event at the park like illuminations Fantasmic or Wishes...? Just making sure or am I missing something

Not right now. The afternoon parade they did had closed a few months ago. I believe they've announced there will be some kind of nightly show when they open Pandora (I think that's what the construction in the river is for right now) - but nothing til then.

The animals get their signals to start moving inside for the night (except the crocodiles) shortly before night falls. This takes about three hours for various reasons so nighttime attractions aren't really in the best interests at this point.

If the speculated nighttime things do happen, I wouldn't expect to see any animal attractions being available for viewing.

Yeah, they don't use fireworks or anything loud for the sake of the animals as these things can scare them. They are planning to put in a new nighttime show, probably a light show without loud noises, but it's a ways off. The park will also remain open longer, probably relying heavily on the new Avatar section which won't have any live animals (unless Disney is WAY ahead in the genetic engineering department!).

This is why, for me, AK is a half-day park right now, but as the expansions open up I can see it being a full day easily.
