Animal Kingdom Meal Certs.

Ok on allearsnet.com it says that you can purchase a meal certificate for you know like a entree, beverage, popcorn or ice cream bar, and a bottled drink...

Do they still have these?

And if so...

For example.. let's say I go to the Flame Tree BBQ... I order the 1/2 slab of ribs which comes with corn and baked beans... its not an entree its like a combo meal sorta... is that still included in the meal certificate?

You can buy the certificates at the park at either customer service or from the restaurant directly, correct??? You don't have to buy them in advance do you?

Nope, you don't have to buy them in advance. You can buy them at Guest Services or at the restaurant. It's very easy.

Looking at the kid's menus isn't impressive. DD does not like PB&J. Does Pizzafari have a kid's pizza??? that you can use the meal certificate for?

Pizzafari does have a kids cheese pizza that comes with a bag of chips & a drink for $5.99 the same price as the kids meal cert which makes the bottles of soda & ice cream free! (The cheese pizza is the same size as the adults)
I wish that these certs were available at all parks!

Adults can use the kids vouchers at Pizzafari (they've let us each time we've been anyways). It's an excellent deal.

I am getting ready to buy the Q & C vouchers for our trip in October. We will have a meal at AK. Would we be better off buying the AK cert for this meal or using the Q & C voucher which costs $11.50 per voucher? How much is the AK cert?

I would use the vouchers at AK instead of Q&C's.

Restaurantosaurus, Flame Tree Barbecue, Pizzafari, Tusker House.
One box of popcorn or an ice cream bar
One bottled drink (soda or water)

The certificates can be
purchased at any Animal Kingdom counter service restaurant and also
at Guest Relations in the park

do you get a drink with your entree at all the places that accept these certs?and then still get a drink later on in the day with your popcorn or ice-cream bar

We are going to try out this vouchers at AK in Sept. We are looking forward to trying Flame Tree BBQ.

Does anyone know if the ice cream coupons can be used at one of the ice cream carts - or do you have to return to the original counter service restaurant to use it? What about for the bottled drink?

Are the vouchers dated - if we return to AK one afternoon later in the week for the parade, could we hang onto the drink voucher for that day?

You must use the entire voucher in one day and no, you do not have to return to the original restaurant to get your ice cream or bottled drink. You can get these at any cart in the park.

fyi... We always use our free ice cream coupon for the HUGE waffle cone with chocolate ice cream, that is in the Lion King area (Camp Minnie-Mickey?). So, it doesn't just have to be your basic ice cream bar.

We also purchased the kids deals at Pizzafari and it was the best deal of the trip!
