hello i was wondering if anyone knew about construction there ? i had heard there was some going on ? and if so is it loud wont be there till june though

From all the reports that I have read, most people don't even notice or hear any construction going on in the main lodge.

The construction in the main lodge should be finishe by June, after that it will just be the new DVC lodge called Kidani that is being worked on.

Actually I got my DVC newsletter last week and it said that construction in the main building at AKL was well ahead of schedule and would be completely finished in late January (1/29 was the date they stated I believe)!! After that date all construction will be in the Kidani Village complex which is not connected to the hotel.

No way! We stayed there in Sep. and we didn't hear it at ALL! We were so happy with it that we are going back to stay again!!
