Animal Kingdom Lodge to Universal S/IOA?

Dear all,

Me and wife are planning to stay 7 nights in Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge from the labor day weekend onwards. Our first few days will be in Disney theme parks, and 2 days will be at Universal Studio and IOA (bought the 5 days for the price of 2 deal!).

So, I wonder what would be the best way for us to travel from Animal Kingdom Lodge to the 2 theme parks at Universal's?

Can someone advise? Do we need to make prior reservation or arrangement?

If you don't have a rental car you can either take the Mears shuttle, a towncar or a taxi. The only one that you need to pre-reserve is the Mears.
